Class times and monthly roda

Classes are now from 8.30 to 10pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for adults.
They take place either at CentreStage or Grand Millennium Plaza (contact CM Jo to confirm).

CCEJC will also hold a monthly roda in Central on the third Saturday of every month.

Exception: this month (August) the roda will take place on Sunday, 22 August, at Power Station Beach (Tai Wan To) on Lamma Island, as a farewell for Instrutor Bidu who is returning to Brazil. It will be followed by Acrobatics Class taught by Bidu and a BBQ.

成人的課堂現在每個星期二、三、四舉行在中環，Centrestage或者新紀元廣場（聯繫CM Jo為確定）。

CCEJC也現在每月第三個禮拜六舉行圓團（roda）在中環三號碼頭附近。

不過本月因為Bidu教练回去巴西我們8月22日星期日在南丫島大灣肚沙灘(Power Station Beach)做roda為告別他。然後有Bidu的雜技課,BBQ.

Acrobatics class on the beach 海滩雜技課 with Instrutor Bidu

Every Sunday in August at 4pm, Equipe Jo Capoeira is holding Acrobatics Class on Hung Shing Yeh beach, Lamma Island, taught by Instrutor Bidu. Each class $50, contact CM Jo for more details.

Capoeira Festival -- Grupo Falcao Capoeira!

C.Mestre Jo will be attending this festival of capoeira and Brazilian culture in July this year (see here for more details).
Convened by Meste Falcao in Salvador, Bahia, it is a great opportunity to travel to Brazil, train with some great teachers of capoeira, including CM Jo and Mestre Falcao, and to have a great time with people from Brazil and all over the world!

EQUIPE JÔ CAPOEIRA first batizado in Hong Kong

The first batizado, with a week of workshops and events, will take place from the 16th to 20th of September. The batizado itself is at the Fringe Club in Central, and events are taking place on both Hong Kong and Lamma islands. Click here for the programe (Word document).

It is with regret we must inform you that we had our last meeting to finalise all the details with THE DOGHOUSE and the owner informed us at this very late stage, he no longer wanted us to hold our party at his venue.
